Let us all applaud New Jersey for a great article on Asian longhorned beetle awareness month. It mentions all the big points; not moving firewood, looking at trees to spot sign of damage, why trees are so important to our lives, and a little history about the beetle itself.

We have some new videos up! They are educational and informative public service announcements- 30 seconds long- and they are each designed to teach the public a short lesson. The three topics are... How to identify the ALB, Be alert to sick and dying trees, and Don't spread pests.

August is Asian longhorned beetle awareness month! Throughout the Northeastern region of the USA, from Maine all the way down to New Jersey and Pennsylvannia, there are state, local, and federal gov't groups, as well as a few non-profits, that are working together to raise awareness of the Asian longhorned beetle.
